Turning trends into impact!

As a Creative Planner for eBay UK's Instagram and TikTok accounts, I collaborated with small businesses to create engaging content that highlighted pre-loved fashion and furniture. By leveraging user-generated content (UGC) and tapping into trending topics, I effectively promoted both C2C and B2C campaigns.

My focus on content creation and trend utilization helped to craft a compelling narrative that resonated with eBay's diverse audience.

In September 2024, the social media strategy resulted in 51 posts, generating 935k impressions and an average of 18.3k impressions per post. The account achieved a 5% engagement rate, with 126 engagements per post. This project underscored my ability to drive significant engagement and visibility through strategic content planning and execution.

Discovering hidden gems within eBay’s vibrant community and transforming them into captivating UGC content to share with the joy of pre-loved with the world.

UGC CONTENT

Collaborating with UK creators, I developed content that aligned with eBay’s business priorities, ranging from promoting Parts & Accessories to showcasing pre-loved fashion. I worked closely with the casting team to identify creators who best matched the brand and the proposed concepts. Once the ideas were approved and creators were confirmed, I coordinated detailed briefings to ensure clarity and alignment. After receiving the content, I made minor edits in collaboration with the design team to prepare the final posts for eBay’s social media feed, ensuring high-quality and engaging output.

This collaboration came about to transform clothing which is unsellable on @the_bhf floor and show the power of circular fashion.

As part of eBay’s commitment to supporting small businesses on its platform, we produce monthly editorial content that highlights these businesses, sharing their stories and promoting their products or services. This process begins with reaching out to small business owners and collaborating on a concept.

We then work closely with the production team to film on location, guided by a detailed shot list and treatment plan. Once the videographer delivers the footage, we create storyboards and collaborate with the design team to craft engaging, high-quality content that showcases the business effectively.
